So, after 3 days of packing I am finally finished and ready to go.
One suitcase, most likely over 50 lbs, and one 16 lb backpack. Even with that small amount of luggage I most likely still over packed.
Thank you Emirates for having the worst carry-on policy ever and for pretty much allowing me to bring on a suitcase with a napkin stowed away in its front pocket.
At least the only thing I'm nervous for is finding my way through the airports. Lets hope my batteries last long enough to watch my movies and play some Angry Birds. Why didn't I just buy an iPad for this trip?
So, 1 hour and I will be on my way to Terminal 2. 5 Hours and I will be starting my 2 day journey to Botswana.
I'm as ready as I'll ever be.
